St Catherine’s Win Albert Griffin Cup
Well done to our U14 hurlers who recently won the Albert Griffin cup defeating Kildorrery.
Albert’s daughter Phil O Brien presented the trophy to winning captain Kenneth O Connell !
Albert was a brilliant clubman who repaired hurleys for our players for decades (when repairing hurleys was still the done thing!)
Albert is fondly remembered and this cup is a fitting way to mark his passing every year
