Almost a two hour drive to Kealkill to a Gaa club in the hills of West Cork.  A trek ,but with great success we are now through to the County Final.

A nail-biting Junior Semi-Final saw St. Catherineโ€™s edge out St. Colums with a 2.08 to 2.07 win. The game was level at half-time (2.03 each), after a fantastic penalty save from Niamh and brilliant goals from Abby and Aoife โ€“ the latter set up by an inch-perfect pass from Eimear.

In the second half, St. Colums started brightly, scoring the first two points, and it looked as though they might pull ahead. But the girls refused to back down, and the team dug deep, responding with four unanswered points to take a crucial lead. The final 10 minutes were edge-of-your-seat stuff, but we held on to secure the victory. ๐Ÿ’ช We meet St. Colmans in the final next weekend.

It's been a fantastic weekend for women's sport with some of our players with success also in the camoige championship. Congratulations.
St. Catherineโ€™s Ladies are out in force in all codes. Keep up the hard work ๐ŸŸช๐ŸŸจ
