St Catherine's U14 girls produced a stunning performance to win an East Cork Final against Aghada on  a scoreline of 3-7 to 2-8  in Ballynoe tonight! Aghada took an early lead, kicking three points in the opening few minutes, but the girls started finding a way through to take a one-point lead into half time. The second half was a goal fest, with five goals scored in an end-to-end match, but the girls hung on after a hectic finish to secure the win.

This was a repeat of the County Final earlier in the year, which saw St Catherine's take the spoils in another close encounter. Tonight's match didn't disappoint, with both teams giving it their all. 

A huge well done to Mark and his coaching team, Aileen, Ciara, Sean, Dave, and Conny, on another fantastic season. And thanks to Treasa and Abby from Leahy's Open Farm for treating the teams to lovely ice cream after the match - a great way to cap off a fantastic year!
