Redmond Higgins RIP
St. Catherine’s GAA club are deeply saddened to learn of the death earlier today of Redmond Higgins RIP.
Redmond was a dedicated member of St. Catherine’s GAA club and fulfilled many roles down through the years including secretary, East Cork Board delegate, team mentor and club & lotto committee member.
His commitment & loyalty to St Catherine GAA was total & he was a true friend to many in our club and parish. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Higgins family at this sad time.
The Higgins family have asked that the Shane O’Connell Memorial Cup 7s Tournament, scheduled for tomorrow, proceed as planned and in accordance with their wishes this event will go ahead.
